Test facilities

Testing of sealing solutions takes place in our own premises adapted to the purpose. We have a selection of ready-made fixtures and offer assistance with the development and production of customer-specific fixtures. We of course also produce seals for testing. We have the personnel and equipment to prepare and carry out testing.

  • Pool: 4x3x3 meters
  • Reinforced container with camera surveillance
  • Crane: 1.5 tons
  • Adjacent control room
  • Necessary equipment/software for logging, temperature control, sensors, pressure testing, etc.

Of course we comply with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines for the safe execution of tests, and carry out necessary measures such as risk analyses and SJA.

Gas booster

Module from Proserv 100G with Haskel AG-62 Gas Booster - gas pressure with nitrogen up to 1,200 bar. Pneumatic operation.

Nitrogen generation plant

  • Atlas Copco PSA nitrogen aggregator with various tanks
  • Bauer Nitrogen high-pressure compressor with 2x80 l/300 bar tanks

Liquid pump

2 pcs. Proserv

  • Small, simple up to 1,700 bar for static testing. Pneumatic and manual hand pump
  • High capacity, Proserv 100V up to 2,200 bar for larger volumes. Pneumatic operation

Accumulator

  • Two pcs. 3 liters/900 bar.

Pipe fittings, valves, connections etc.

From Autoclave Engineer - HP or MP series.

Temperature control

  • Temperature chamber 1: From - 50°C - 210°C. Approx. 85x74x89 cm
  • Temperature chamber 2: From - 70°C - 160°C. Approx. 60x60x60 cm
  • Flexible unit for temperature control in media: Julabo F50: from - 30 to + 200°C
  • Various furnaces: up to 1300 °C

Logging with equipment and software from HBM

Measurement amplifier HBM QuantumX 840 8-channel and Catman PC software.

Sensors

  • Pressure: 50 bar, 1000 bar, 2000 bar
  • Temperature: Thermocouple, type K, PT 100
  • Motion sensor: 10 mm, 50 mm, 500 mm
  • Force sensor: 3 pcs. 5 kN, 2 pcs. 50 kN

Gap extrusion

Four test cells with two test objects in each. Pressure medium water. The test conditions can be varied as follows:

  • Radial gap from 0.2 to 1.1mm
  • Pressure up to 2000 bar
  • Temperature from 23 to 200°C

Sealing properties

Test cell with grooves for 3.53 and 5.33 o-rings respectively. Pressure medium nitrogen. For testing under varying pressure and temperature, e.g. RGD

  • Pressure up to 2000 bar
  • Temperature from -50 to 210°C
